Ricardo Salazar

Ricardo Antonio Salazar was born in El Salvador. Graduating high school, he enrolls in a traditional seminary to become a priest. It does not last very long though, and he begins to struggle with different vices. At the age of 23, in his 4th year of law school and working as a professional soccer team coach, he encounters Jesus Christ. This changes him completely and permanently leaving everything behind to serve the Lord.
Ricardo comes to CFNI in the mid-eighties. Graduating Pastoral Leadership School in 1987 and becoming an ordained CFN minister, he returns to El Salvador to start a church.
In 1989, Ricardo and his wife, Reina de Salazar give birth to the International Ministry “Cristo a las Naciones”, which currently has over 45 churches covering Canada, the United States, Mexico, Spain and Central America.
As a gifted speaker, his ministry also reaches many soccer teams, providing a platform to lead many of them to Christ.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theological Science and a Doctorate of Theology and Pastoral Ministries.
Ricardo and his wife have 3 children and 5 grandchildren, whom they love with all their heart.
